Silverstone advise

Guys/Gals For the first time in years I don''t have a hotel near the curcuit so have decided to drive up on Sunday morning. Has anyone done similar from the Portsmouth area and if so how long should I leave bearing in mind I would like to see the F1 warm-up (is it 08:30 this year?) and they have limited the parking to 18000 places (yes I do have the pass). Many thanks in advance.

If you leave about 4:00am you should get there in time.

personally we levae from Bristol at 4 so I guess I'd recommend 4 at the latest. Theres loads of trouble as they're building the new access road and there is major disruption on the m40 around junctions 10 and 11. good luck! pablo
