Gallardo - Retrofit Cruise Control & TPMS
Discussion
Hi, wonder if anyone can help please?
Is it possible to retrofit TPMS to a 2011 Gallardo e-gear, I know it was an option in some markets but not fitted to mine.
Is it possible to retrofit Cruise Control, as far as I know this was never an option.
Any experiences, costs and recommendations gratefully received, many thanks. I would like the CC to be as discreet as possible. Cheers.

Can't help specifically for the Gallardo, but I have retro fitted cruise control to a few of my cars.
if the engine is throttle-by-wire (very likely) its pretty easy - control box plugs in between the throttle cable and loom, and there is a line to the CANBUS. CANBUS tells the cruise module the vehicle speed, cruise module intercepts and controls the throttle signal. usually there are a number of 'stalk' options with the usual controls for on/off set, resume, cancel etc. all the aftermarkets ones also take CANBUS feeds for the clutch and brake switches (so it 'cancels' if you touch the brake or clutch pedal). It's all easily removable / reversible.
The kits are usually £300-400 and installation should take a decent tech maybe a couple of hours at most.
