Changing offset 3clocks to centre clocks setup?

Can i change it to centre clock setup without chomping/hacking the wires?
wasnt there a conversion kit?

and using modern clocks setup on centre clocks?

As far as I know, you will need to pull the connector blocks out of the back of your offset binnacle, then chop them off, before wiring extensions to the back of the old style centre clocks.

I once fitted an Innocenti Cooper 1300 clock set into an offset binnacle car and had to do a bit of wiring.

It was not too much of a job and I converted it back when I eventually sold the car.

It takes a bit of courage to chop the connector blocks off, but it is a pretty straightforward job.
