S1 jacking points
Discussion
I believe the info you're looking for is HERE:
www.elise-faq.info/content/misc/index.php
It's straight out of the Owner's Manual.
You'll be after Jacking Point A... there should be a little blue sticker over the jacking point on either side on the Aluminium extrusion underneath the car.
By using A you can safely and easily jack up one entire side of the car (it's quite safe) and then chock it with a suitably-topped axle stand for safety then crawl under there and check your undertrays.
I've got a couple of pieces of road metal trapped on top of mine, buggers rattle about under hard cornering... they're coming off in a week or so to get the buggers out!

The guy who sold me my Elise gave me a copy of the manual which I think you can get for £5 from Ebay. I bound mine in 3 sopiral binder and it goes with the car everyotime it needs a garage or recovery. Money well spent as questions like this, and thousands more, are in the manukla and the garage/recovery people have no excuses.
