****ing amazing.
Seriously, probably just been out for the best drive of my life! Simple as well... brake hard, turn in, on the gas and out the other side but sooooo quick! It just grips and then grips some more and the feedback is just great with the wheel twitching and pulling!
What a fantastic car - so glad I bought it.
I HAVE to do a track day :)
Rob.

Glad you are enjoying the car! I've certainly had a ball with mine.
You will enjoy your first trackday - I did. Have a word with your dealer - mine arranges twice-yearly outings to Anglesey, and the last one was a well-arranged affair with photographers, mechanics, factory chassis development driver doing demo runs in an Exige and suchlike.
I had a run out yesterday to Alton Towers, and on the way back my satnav threw a wobbler. Instead of sending me back onto the M6 and home, it took me along a bunch of excellent A and B roads as far as Knutsford, then motorway home. Fantastic run, if not the quickest route home, and there was, unfortunately, a plethora of scameras - in one place a pair were less than 100m apart! Nevertheless, a fun drive.

ing wurzel! (the roads there though are A1. Sun tomorrow please.) In Brussels, saterday was rainy but sunday...
Waouw, that red light on the dash, the kick at peak power... what a thrill
This car flies, what a pleisure.
Roof off, cruising kindly and then when some roads open, just push, push
Wonder how many time I will keep my licence?
The funny part is that on motorway I really stick with the speed limit.... but to reach the motorway it's another matter...

I reckon the best place to use an Elise would have to be Sweden. There are some truly great roads out here. For one thing, the roads surrounding all the lakes follow the natural lake perimeter, which makes for some very interesting routes. Another advantage is the lack of other motorists (Sweden's population being around 9 million), so it's relatively safe to push it every now and then. There are some great roads in the U.K aswell, but it's too crowded and you have to be in the right part of the country to get the best scenery to compliment your drive.
