Discussion
it's being sold on the Jersey car marketplace on Facebook. Unless you're on FB I doubt it will load up, but I might be wrong?

A very rare car indeed this.
Not a single one for sale any where else, and on ‘how many left’ website they don’t even exist any more. These cars are fully composite which a am told was a first for road cars back in the day !
How many actually where built new is even a highly controversial conversion, I am told there are probably 12 in the world actually left ?? Don’t want to get dragged in to this conversation though as it’s so long
The story - car is in Jersey.
Been in a shed for 18years where a chap had started to do some work on her but then gave up.
The bonnet is missing and I am told in the U.K at a Kevlar specialist where it was meant to be modified for vertical inlets one the rover V8. The ecu is missing. Apparently the car was over heating and was sent back to the U.K. where it was fixed and made into a 4.5L - this car needs a lot of work to get her back on the road. Currently shell does roll. I bought it recently mainly for the registration number and loved the look of the thing.
But she is up for sale. If your are serious and want a more detailed photos pm your email and I will send you a file. Of high res images
The basic spec :
1987
Tvr seac wedge
Rover v8 4.5 apparently was 4.2
32,000 miles - genuine
£7500 - can be delivered to Poole harbour U.K. will have a bill of sale and also a export certificate and a folder of paper work on the car.
Kind regards Neil
Plate not included

Hi
I tried to buy this five years ago, and the owner didn't communicate very well.
I gave up because he wanted £20k+ for it then and at that time it was outside.
If you buy it for £7.5K pay the duty + vat etc it will still need a good £10 to £15K plus to sort it out if you want a good car.

I understand that the car was purchased for less than the asking price in the end. I think that this was an absolute steal given that they ain't making any more of them and they are rare as rare is. Sure you may have to spend upwards of £10k+ fixing them up (over a period of time) but what would you be left with? An absolute brutal ultra-rare top of the tree classic British TVR bully boy that will only appreciate in price. Sure you can 'upgrade' to some kind of AJP or Straight six powered newer TVR nonsense but sometimes pure power and top-end speed ain't the whole story. For me its how you get to sixty MPH that counts!

Yes Andy Race bought this SEAC. I've been in touch with him recently and he reported that chassis, engine and running gear were all in fine fettle, so he is well pleased. I believe Graham from Black Cats was sorting out a new bonnet, so all good.Gassing Station | Wedges | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
