I always have problems finding jeans that fit.
I need a 34/36 waist / 30L . Slim/tapered fit.
Alot of cycling has given me big thighs which doesnt help.
The major issue seems to be jeans which give a builders arse!...
Anyone found a brand that they can recommend please.

I have exactly the same problem!

I have to buy jeans that have a little stretch to them. The best I've found so far are the ones that Diesel, Jack Jones and Burton do.

Only problem that involves actually going to Primark ... which no-one in their right mind would want to subject themselves to at this time of year.

This is very true. However, my wife ventured into Exeter last Thursday evening and reported it was very quiet.

I have to say, for between £10-£15 Primark jeans are surprisingly good.

And I don't care what you say, jeans are jeans. You never look at a pair of jeans and wonder what they cost. The average person in the street looks at a decent fit and either appreciates the contents of the jeans or not. They don't look at a nice arse and think I wonder if those are Primark or Calvin Klein. hehe

I've not tried Primark, but I have noticed that cheap jeans tend to be made from thicker heavier denim and also never fit me very well.

I'd normally agree. But was very (pleasantly) surprised at Primark. Not like that at all. And most are stretch, even the straight leg ones. Presumably catering for their usual customer demographic. I can usually walk into Primark, find 34/30 and know they will be a good fit.

So I invested in a pair of hiuts recently, really expensive compared to what I’d normally buy, the fit and quality is amazing and you really do notice the difference. Yes no one will no what you’re wearing but they are so comfortable and that’s not forgetting the free repairs for life.

I’m that kind of shape and Gap athletic fit work. Their flex max ones in slim taper cut (the least “skinny” they do in them) work well too.

I got Easy ones from Matalan.

Nice enough for the money.

I got fed up of paying for premium brands that were cheap st.
Looked at nouveau premium stuff but eye watering prices and I can’t imagine they’ll last 5x or more longer for the cost differences.

Not cheap but with all the different sizes, waist, leg and 3 fits (no leg day, normal, cyclist/rugby player) I found they've fitted better for me than any other jeans

Agreed, their jeans are great, and 36/33 straight leg fit me better than any other brand. Don't shrink on first wash, and with button fly feel like expensive jeans.

Thirded

I had a similar problem with big thighs and have also found the trick is jeans with stretch, similarly have been very pleased with my Sainsbury's pairs, in fact I started getting my semi-smart work trousers from them as well eek

Yes to Tu from Sainsburys.
Stretch straight leg for me, comfy, decent fit, and they last. Can't really be beaten at around £15.
