I completely get you Facebook is toxic. You can try looking through google for owners forums but Facebook is where people are active. Most of the big car meets and drive days get set up these days on Facebook so you are missing out. I'm not on facepage.

It might not exist then, you'll likely need to start somewhere in terms of getting information, which is what the sad internet thing is good for. That is likely your best route to at least get into groups and clubs then go to meets or tours.
You'll need to get over that hurdle to get what you are looking for basically, they do very much exist but having that opinion of the club organisational mechanisms wont help you get where you want to go. Most have moved away from Forums to facebook for good reasons.
With your Blade you can then look into which clubs/groups fit you best, there will be a mix of variety but the Blade isnt that popular here in terms of having a large number of owners, likewise the engine isnt well known in groups as far as I know either, for example you get 1Jz and 2Jz groups and of course clubs for more popular cars such as the Altezza, or the Crowns etc, very specific but based around popularity or engine.
There are a number of location based groups which might suit you better depending where you are, for example on Facebook you have "JDM Car Meets", "JDM Meet and Cruise" and others... it sounds what you are looking for.
I should add, I personally dont like Facebook either but I use it and it works well for information, knowledge sharing, getting parts and much more, I dont like it but it has a lot of uses

Sadly It's impossible to access/freely view Facepage or other internet groups like you can with PH - FB & others require far too much personal info' - IMO to warrant joining any of them. PistonHeads on the other hand is free to view & only needs an email, to post - which to me is acceptable for the benefits of the forum. Why don't FB etc allow everyone free access to view - but not post etc. ??
For today's younger generation brought up [TAUGHT} with FB etc - DUH!!} whilst in school
this easy access to their personal data by FB etc. may seem normal, but for most older folk it most certainly ain't.
I agree many former 'REAL' pub based car clubs are now online only using FB [including 2 I was a committee member on, and at the time I objected to this happening but was out voted - hey that's democracy] but WHY?? Cars are real - mean't to used etc. so need to be regularly driven to club meets etc. there's still much value in having a club night at least once a month [as well as a club internet forum for members to post car details etc. if they feel the need] - one club I was in [at one time] had 2 meets a week including drives/Blats out on every occasion, as well as larger events where other clubs were invited to participate. Online only can in no way replicate this, I can't understand why serious petrolheads don't want 'REAL' Car club meetings anymore where their precious machine gets used and abused
as intended??
If you know of any 'REAL CAR'clubs based in S or Mid Wales please post their details up herein - Besides me I know plenty of other real petrolheads looking for a 'REAL' club to join - Forget JDM that's obviously too specialist to warrant a local Welsh branch, FYI I believe there's only 4 other Blades in the whole UK [unless of course you know different]
Any enthusiast would appreciate seeing another's machine, forget brand loyalty etc. cars are to be driven & enjoyed by all although I do appreciate the banter and envy/rivalry/jealousy between certain brands and country of manufacture - myself owning Yank, Jap & UK man'f car's at the mo
