hardtop issues
Discussion
I am considering to purschase a hardtop from the internet and have it sent home (athens greece)
i have the following questions :
- how risky is such a purchase (will it fit perfectly?) - is there anyone who has done this from the internet?
- should they sent it already painted or should i do the paint job in athens ?
- will there be a major change in the leaking / when in rain ?

depending on year of the car and the year of the hardtop, there was some changes made (around 1998) in regards to the seals. So if the car and hardtop are from the same year, they should fit. anyhow a conversion kit can be bought from lotus.
I would not worry about painting, you should be ok finding a dupont-code for the hardtop.
You might have to readjust the sidewindows to get them to seal properly against the hardtop. Not difficult just a bit time consuming..
