Track day car with the ability to tow a small trailer?

I'm looking for a fun car that I can do the occasional track day with, my search criteria is pretty simple:

Fun & Lightweight
Ability to tow a single motorcycle trailer
Under approx £5000

It seems a lot of stuff isn't type approved, for example I like the idea of a Mazda MX5 but only the MK1 is approved for towing and they are getting a bit too old now.

Is there something obvious that I've overlooked?

Megane r26 maybe in budget for one on higher miles. 172/182 Clio, Unsure if either are suitable for towing despite owning both.

Thought of the Cooper S but it's not type approved.

Same with Civic Type R

Thought about the Fiesta ST but they aren't either
