You know the score, add your name or delete.

I think that we should meet at the pub again because it was rather splendid and those fish and chips were the best*.

They were even better as, sat down outside the pub, I avoided dripping mushy peas down the leg of my dry-clean-onlys.

Dont know Jon, I come up from Belper on the A6, so for me its a right turn at Cromford crossroads/lights, past the canal and mill car park, then left up the hill and down the other side to the pub.

Why not just go through Matlock Bath heading out on the A6 towards Derby, then turn left at Cromford.

it is the one i think then cos thats where the other end comes out, lights at Cromford, see you all there than if weather plays ball, dont think the VW transporter would fit in if it rains.

fantastic you've tempted him into the murky world of soft drinks and regaling each other with improbable driving tales of derring-do!

Shhh

i haven't told him (much) about that yet!
Turns out he quite likes Top Gear etc so was quite easy to persuade, but he's not really a driving/car enthusiast. ( he has a perfectly reasonable and very reliable Skoda Fabia 1.4).

but then I've not driven him at speed on country lanes yet

be gentle to him!

I was on the comp trying to make me living () and thought i'd take a break on Pistonheads...
Came onto the Midlands messageboard and saw this thread.. was about to add my name then realised I'd already been opted in!

Oh well, fine with me!

Dave.
