Maybe describe the issue and perhaps some can help.
There's plenty of knowledge and experience here without being a full time auto electrician

Are Tiger 800 (2018) electrics CanBus or is that just the ignition system? Or not at all?
I would like to fit some spots to come one with main-beam only as std bulbs/lights a very weak
Not interested in driving around like something from close encounters of the third kind (for those that know it)

Seeing as hex easycan isn't avaiable for the Truimphs, probably partial or not at all.
But regardless, it wouldn't stop you mounting lights and running a switched relay from the high beam line to switch the aux lights on

I fitted a set of 'fog' lights to my Tiger 800.
These were Triumph brand, fitted very easily and were 'plug and play' with the switch mounted above the heated grips switch.
If needed I just switched them on! No dazzle for oncoming traffic but made quite a difference to lighting the road......
Expensive but I would recommend

Yeah. Simply to build, but if you dont want to have a look at something like Eastern Beaver stuff https://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/Wiring_Kits/Fus...

ta very much

it has the fog lights as std i just need something to illuminate further up the road

i looked at denalli and liked the idea of having one with a hybrid lens and one with a spot, but they are cost prohibitive just now
