The simple answer is because you have to.

The rest of your rant is just regurgitated stereotyping drivel. Get over it. You got caught speeding, it’s not the end of the world.

I'm rather glad you got caught speeding, I'm doubly glad you're so unhappy with it.

You sound like an unpleasant person...

Hanging is too good for you. Of course being a paragon of virtue myself I would never allow myself to get caught do such a thing.

That's the way it's been for years, not a new Stazi regime as you put it, yes annoying, but no great shakes.

As for the rest of your rant, maybe you should get together with partyvan who started the car tax refund post earlier, and have, well...........a party, You two should get on really well

Unfortunately this is how the public sector works, how else would they fund the gravy train?

Has OP still got a paper counterpart?

If not why do you have to send it in, I mean it’s not going to be stamped with points.

Am I missing something?

Yours, mixed and confused.

I thought that they wrote the date you received the points, a period after which you will be free of those points. If the dates were not written down, how would you and your employer know them?

If it helps, my public sector monkey wife will only be working until she's 58 as her pension pot gets hammered by tax when it hits £1m.

If you have a paper counterpart licence.

But nowadays you just get a photo card.

You check convictions online.

Only £1m? That sounds really low for the typical public sector golden handshake pension. Get on that train!

Maybe if we all got caught speeding and took one for the team she may be able to finish a bit earlier? I mean, it’s got to be worth a try.

Definitely "taking one for team" wink Not too sure if she'll "finish earlier" though
