What a great photo, Shame we can't see the reg no,Trans Am so unlikely to be in the States.
The number plate looks short with the three numbers taking more than half the number plate up, could have only 2 letters so private plate or
all numbers like a Guernsey reg car. but sorry none of that helps to find out if the car belongs to Thin Lizzy,
Do they have a Face Book or fan club still.
I'll make enquiries, Smiley Bolger a good friend of Phillos is quite ill, he was what we in Ireland would describe as a character. I know a few people who know Brush Shiels quite well, they played together in Skid Row and see of they can verify anything. I think it was just a lucky coincidence, right place, right time.
Excluding the car, it's one hell of a line up. Bonus point for anyone who can name them.

Hello Ronan, that's very interesting that you saw one in Ireland back in the day. I own three 'bullnose' era Firebirds (i.e. '70 to '73), all original Irish reg cars. They are projects granted, but survive nonetheless. I do know that there was a 4th, but have been unable to track it down.
Here is a photo of one of mine taken back in the 1980s, a 1971 model. Was this the car that you saw that time? Would be fantastic if your photos were found!
Cheers, Aidan

Ir was definitely a Trans Am, white with a blue stripe and I would have taken pic of when it was fairly new; I cannot recall this clearly as I was quite young and it was a B&W photo, might have been at Mondello. I cannot find the pic unfortunately. In those day I did very little photography and it was a borrowed camera........
