Honda Elysion. Anyone got/had one?

Don’t know much about them, but we have discussed about potentially getting one a next car.
If you like the Elysion also look at the Stepwagon from Honda. Also Toyota Alphard and Nissan Elgrand is an option.
There are a couple of other Nissan / Toyota MPVs that are imported which offer similar. I think one is called the Serena.

I went for the Elysion in the end as it'll fit into my garage, they're 1790mm tall (hoping google is correct) My garage is 1805mm
The importer had one already on it's way so due 11th Nov into Southampton.
A grade 4.5 so should be close to mint condition.
I'll update when it's here.

I went for the 2.4cc, I think that has a chain rather than a belt?Was it expensive?
It's just under 5k landed, Duty/Vat paid.
Engine bay looks clean for a 2006 car.

I've got two dealers close to me that import cars from Japan, one of which has just helped me with mine. I've occasionally collected cars from the docks for them over the years.
Neither of them have seen an Elysion before hence my original question.
Their main advice is to get any car BIMTA checked for the mileage when it was in Japan.
Defo get any car inspected over there. I paid Torque GT to do the legwork on both my JDM cars and can't speak high enough of them and never felt short changed for all the work they do.

The inspection is off the back of the auction sheet of the car and they also check the car when it rolls into the auction section - they passed on a Skyline which had an engine rattle.
Auction sheets are usually savage, this is mine for the Crown - the numbers & letters all point to paint defects;
And when I picked it up, after polishing it myself I can only find the A4 mark on the bonnet to be there

I'm also looking at the Elysion as a replacement for my T6 Caravelle. I'm nervous about a the following:
- Rusting after a couple of years over here
- Replacement parts
- Language issues with internal units/compatiblity with UK radio/sat-nav
- Resale value
I've had a quick look at the Elysion as well as the Elysion Prestige - With its looks, I thought that the Prestige looked like the previousmodel, but it's actually the replacement/runout model!

Rusting: get it undersealed when it arrives then get someone to redo every few years and you shouldn’t have issues.
Parts: most parts are shared between cars now so service items are rarely an issue. It’s body/interior that can be annoying/expensive.
Sat nav: depends what the dash is like so I’d do research and see what others have done. I can’t on my Toyota but happy with a CD player and radio just needed an FM band shifter.

I watched this video on the Stepwagon. I like the look of this, and in the video the presenter describes the head unit as being compatible with UK.

It's been delivered to me today, just got to wait for registration now. I guess 4-6 weeks.
It really is a lovely thing, must have cost a fair bit when new.
It's got the softest velour seats I think I've ever felt, same material on the door cards as well.
I'll jump on the forums to see if I can get the TV working, Jap only I guess.
And the best of all, it fits in the garage.
