Maybe explain and / or post a similar 'exotic' for sheer entertainment.

I see that the Khamsin is still looking for a home, unsurprisingly...

One of my favourite designs is a Khamsin. Lovely.
What ever possessed someone to do that

Isn't that the oddest thing to do with such a Daytona rival?

It's been knocking around for ages. I too love Khamsins and if I were a very wealthy man I'd buy it, strip it, and put it right.

But I'm not. So I won't. frown

You'd probably end up spending enough to buy one that hasn't been anywhere near Halfords.... I've seen this one in the flesh and it's lovely....

These people should really get someone to proofread their ads:

".and the stainless steel exhaust system remits the most evocative whale" Blimey!

That’s two different cars. One with a cream interior and one with a brown interior and different wing mirrors. The latter is the one in the advert link.

Almost certainly hehe

I'd do it, nevertheless.

They weren't for sale at the same time. The Ghibli was a Daytona rival, not the Khamsin.

The Khamsin was effectively the Ghibli’s replacement. About five years ago I went to local(ish) car meet at a pub and half a dozen or so Italians turned up, including a near mint Khamsin in a lovely ‘70s shade of metallic brown, it’s fair to say it was the most popular car there on the day.

Hmmmm... They differ widely in price. The Ferrari has 2 seats and the Khamsin is a 2+2.

I'm still going with Ghibli.

Try to sit in the back then wink In my eye a Khamsin is the closest rival to a Daytona. Surely not a Miura! I'm interested in other thoughts.

Ghibli is a cruiser. Daytona is a cruiser with some edge. Some edge!
