Dash bulkhead colour

Every S I've checked out has a darker colour on top of the scuttle bulhead than the overall dash colour. I'm assuming this has something to do with stopping glare reflecting onto the windscreen... or is it just the period stylee? I'd really like same cream leather on the bulkhead but what do reckon - too much of a relection problem?? :cool:

(car off raod at present so I can't just plonk a bit of material there to test it out)

I have same colour dash and bulkhead,glare is not too bad but i would prefer a dark top

Do yourself a favour and don't put leather on it, my dashtop was leather and it shrinks, I redid it in Ambla, it doesn't save hardly any money (£25ish)but apparantly Ambla doesn't shrink.

yes it does mines black and i dont get a lot of glare ( its due to the rack of the windscreen )so!whats this relection problem you have, germoloids is good ,but maybe you should see your G.P.
