Driveshafts - Are they handed?

I started to bolt up the driveshafts yesterday but sadly ran out of time.

But this morning while reading one of the build sites it was stated these were handed.

Is this correct as there are no markings on the box to say this. Is it marked on the shafts themselves?

S*ite I hope not, as far as I was aware they are both the same and does not matter. Can someone else confirm this.

cant see that they are handed.... Worth checking if they have the same part numbers? if so they cant be. Never heard of handed drive shafts.

Wouldn't have thought so either... The boxes were marked LH and RH when I got them, so that was the way I installed them. I would double check the part numbers to be certain, as mentioned, just in case.

The Shafts are identical and not handed but the inner and outer CV Joint are different sizes so perhaps thats what they meant.... But you would be hard pushed to get them on wrong.....

I would say they become handed after you run them.

You normally would not want to put the right on the left, etc. once you have put them through their paces as they might have formed a twist in them.
