Would you buy a 'high mile' 720s?
Discussion
I've had my attention grabbed by a keenly priced 2018 720s at Alaistair Boles. Nice looking car, nice spec' but 19,000 miles. My past experience is that low miles don't always translate into lack of trouble, particularly where issues with lack of use rear their heads. And you could argue that it should have had all the problems sorted. But this would be a bit of a step up for me.
Thoughts? Talk me out of it.

My 650 spider has just turned 32k miles and it has been mega reliable; these cars work better when they are used rather than sit under a cover.Thoughts? Talk me out of it.
My guess is any problems shall of been ironed out during them 19k miles and it is most likely a corker; AB wouldn't touch it otherwise.
Might be wrong, but i think the owner is on here.
Get stuck in before someone else does.
I bought a 34k mile 570S last year and you genuinely wouldn't be able to tell it had done the mileage in 3 years. The interior showed no wear at all and it drove perfectly although I hadn't driven a low miler to compare.
I got rid 6 months later at 36k miles and I'd say that selling will be the challenge as most people want low miler's so offers will be much lower as the potential buyer pool will be that much smaller.
I lost £10k on my car when I sold to a trader who then auctioned it and I believe ended up with money back.

Miles are no issue
My 12C had 40k on it and was perfect
But expect that £125k to be worth £80k in 3yrs
in 3 years or 1.5 - 2 years? My 12C had 40k on it and was perfect
But expect that £125k to be worth £80k in 3yrs
My 40k 12C was £80k at 5yrs
I very nearly bought a 5yr old 650S last month for £80k
No reason the 720 won’t do the same, particularly with high miles.

720s are already 3 yrs+ old and the cheapest advertised is this 'high' mileage one at £125k, after that they are £130k+.My 40k 12C was £80k at 5yrs

I would be very, very doubtful these shall be at £80k in another 2 years.; mid £90's maybe....

Points noted on depreciation. Would you expect to lose more on this than a £150,000 car with 5,000 miles though over 2/3 years?
My car
Phenomenal car & only selling as replaced with a spider.
If you can afford a 150k 5k miler then I'd probably go for that, however I can't see my car losing any more in percentage terms than any other 720.
Alistair knows the car & previous owner well, it's been really well looked after & has only ever had a cracked windscreen replaced under warranty.
Personally I think at 125k there's literally nothing out there that can touch it
