The car is here in Sweden now with no history at all, I have a few papers for oil changes in gearbox and engine but thats petty much it.
Car look fine but becouse its missing the service book and only has a oil change paper fram 3 moths ago thats not enogh for me.

The car is a Nissan GT-R from 2009, and is imported to Sweden about 2 months ago.
Registration plate in uk: R2TGL
Vin number: JN1AR54F99M250111

Found another paper in the car from acorn cars UK, and I think its a sales paper, from 2019.
Tried to track down acorn cars but with no luck.

Anyone that can help me with this?

R2TGL
Nissan Unknown
Silver
Petrol
3799 cc

Date registered in UK - 4 September 2008

Last MoT - 19/12/2019, 30,597 miles
no previous mot's which is odd, so hasn't been on the road since it was registered.

Either the DVLA haven't processed the export paperwork yet (possible given CV delays), or whoever sold / exported it hasn't declared it as it still shows up on the DVLA online check as "Export Marker - No". Last V5 was also issued on 8th June '20.

The plate listed above has the format of a private one, but could have possibly been issued to the car when registered, but even so there should be more history under either that or a previous plate. Weird there isn't because DVLA / Cazana are normally pretty good at catching / tieing those in. The fact the plate still shows on the DVLA checker suggests it hasn't been put on retention before export.

I only say that as i know both the previous Caterham R300 & Exige S i owned were exported after i sold them, and both still show on the DVLA with history from both the original / private plates and have Yes on the export marker.

Another anomaly on the DVLA site is that the car evidently has a g/km emissions rating of zero. Isn't that what normally gets logged on the V5 against Jap imports that come over but get given a base rate at import / registration rather than the UK calculated rate? Could it have been an import originally hence missing history / MOT's?

Yeah, must be an import if it was registered here in Sept 2008 I think.

https://uk.nissannews.com/en-GB/releases/release-1...
"First deliveries expected March 2009"

Edit: according to http://gtr-registry.com/en-r35-gtr-vin-ranges.php , that VIN is USA/Canada/Middle East (3rd row in the table). Is it LHD?

Thanks for the responds.

The car is a GT-R, thats was build with USA spec, but ended up in UK instead.

The seller here in Sweden says the car was owned by Nissan UK for the first maybe 7 year, but is should still have the service logg book if Nissan them self owned the car.

Then a private person boght the car from Nissan, thats what I been told, but I have no paper of anything.

Worth buying a car with so much missing history?

Interesting. All I can say is that I don't remember any LHD cars being used for magazine road tests back in 2008-09, it seems quite curious to me for Nissan UK to bring in a USA spec car, I would have expected a UK spec one or before they were available perhaps a JDM one.

You could try posting on https://www.gtr.co.uk/forums/ , seems quite active, if it's been owned by Nissan then someone might know something, also as being LHD it might have stuck in someone's memory I guess.
