Hi All,

As the mornings and evenings get increasingly darker I'm thinking about getting myself a light that can be mounted on my Helmet (Bell Super 3) so that it can compliment the light (Lezyne 800XL) already on the handlebars. This is mainly for MTB offroad use.

So over to you guys - what have you got that you would recommend?

There's really/usually only one answer here - and it's not cheap!

I have a Exposure Diablo which works incredibly well for my needs (offroad MTB in the local woods). I got it when they were selling cheaply on Tredz but the prices have gone up hugely since I bought mine.

I'm sure someone else recommended the Manker BLF A6 as a good value alternative, found on eBay, but I don't have any personal experience of it. I have previously used that sort of torch though, and had no dramas. Just make sure the 18650 batteries you buy are decent.

I also recommend the Exposure Diablo. I never fail to be impressed with my Exposure lights. You do get what you pay for and when you are heading downhill in the dark you'll be glad you've got the best!
