I'm thinking about getting an M2 but I'm confused about the width.
It's potentially an issue as I have a narrow entrance to my garage, not an issue once inside. It's 210cm at its narrowest.
I've seen 1,990mm quoted most commonly which seems really wide! I've also found 1854mm quoted.
Is this simply including/excluding mirrors?
Thanks

I have just bought an M2 Comp and it is a tight squeeze into my garage. I have owned an E39 5 series in the past and the M2 is much harder to get into the garage. The parking sensors are going crazy
I wouldn't fold the mirrors in as you may struggle to see where the walls are.
At least you have parking sensors I suppose! Does it have one of those birds eye views of the car to help you avoid hitting things?

On the mirror folding, all I can say is the width is not greatly reduced on the M2C... But the mirrors are a bit different to the OG model, so they may be more effective.
I'm 3k miles in now and still find it a tricky mutha to tuck into tight spaces, even with all the sensors and rear camera. It's a little car really!

To be honest I wish I could turn off all the sensors and the rear camera when I put the car in the garage. It is much easier to concentrate on the mirrors.Years ago I fitted some old carpet to the walls of my garage. It would help if I got too close on the passenger side and protects the door when I squeeze out of the car.
