Front Clams and cost to paint one?

I am after a front clam for an S1 for a friend, and also a ballpark estimate for paint.

I`m just trying to get a few quotes for the painting, to get an idea of an average cost so there are no pants being removed by the bodyshop!

Does anyone know of any good breakers to call who may have one or any specialists? Any help appreciated.

Cheers,

JJ

Just had a quote done for rear clam replacement and painted, the parts were around £1500 and another £1600 for labour (approximatly), this maybe alittle steep but it is with a main dealers authorised bodyshop, I am not worried about the cost as hopefully will come the insurance from the car that reversed into my car.

I have seen some clams on ebay, but usually damaged,

I had a quote to respray my front clam and it was £600.

You can get it done for less but would the job be done properly?

I'll have to get it done sometime as it looks like its been pebble dashed

If you want a quote on what it will take to do it properly call Miles @ Fibreglass Services nr Arundel, West Sussex.

Miles is the boy when it comes to fibreglass repairs and spraying. You can take your measure from that.
