Good Call.

Perry McCarthy mentioned in his book that they sent him out at Spa with a bent steering rod which pulled it violently to right and took all his might to keep it pointing in the right direction.

I'm not sure. I'd think they're more like BAR in 1999. Lots of hype, bullshine, but little substance. Or reliability. Or performance.

The current Ferrari Team...

Massive Budget
Low performance
Dishonest
Yet loyal fans refuse to admit they are doing anything wrong

They would have forgotten to bring their cars to the track and forgot to pay the entry fee. Oh, and if they did manage to get cars there, they would be 2CVs..... Is there team who did that?

Alpine F1. Full of optimism and grand talk. Zero chance of delivering.

Mercedes, only successful because of a lack of competition and everyone fawns over their lead man (Boris/Lewis) like a teenage girl does at a boy-band.

McLaren/Ron Dennis 2.0 https://youtu.be/7hyNoSz-UvM?t=89

Claire Williams & Theresa May - had an advantage/majority and still managed to mess it up.

I can't help but think of New Labour. The running joke in the paddock was that BAR had the best photocopiers in pitlane because of their PR releases; lots of (wheel)spin and no delivery.
