Home from Goodwood Festival of Speed where the Z06 was on the FRONT of the GM stand attracting loads of attention I started to watch some Le Mans video recorded last weekend. Every ad' break had an ad' for the C6 "A legend re-loaded" based around its racing pedigree. The ad' looked and sounded totally American though with the Corvette Europe web-site shown at the end. This was British Eurosport channel and it's great to see some effort being put into marketing the car. (Monaro also had a decent position on the stand near the Corvette. Monaro's so big it made the Vette look like a small sports car)

Love the ad, love the soundtrack, they used the same ad during le mans breaks last year.

Wow! they must have been quick off the mark with the ad. I don't think C6 production began at Bowling Green until the end of June 2004. Must make sense to capitalise on Le Mans though.

Hi Dave, I posted in April about this one, it happened to us without any warning at all, Keith drove home from work, parked the car and next morning the steering had locked. We did not get a recall since the car is a USA import. Bauer Millett fixed it, we had to get the RAC to take the vette up to them, but if you are European spec they will probably collect and deliver back to you (I think C5RagTop had that done?), they will fix the lock and then reprogramme the computer with the most up to date settings. Ours had the lock replaced and then a harness fitted to bypass it (we have no working steering column lock now) but we did not want the computer touched as we have a custom programme.
