hi there all you lovely NEPHers I have to make a decision in a few weeks whether to return to t'frozen...

got a good job here and I like it, but I feel drawn to newcastle by the country lanes 5 minutes away from my house (45 minutes away in nottingham) the beautiful scenery particularly dunstanburgh and craster, bamburgh, warkworth etc (nowt like that roond he'ah) and the beach 20 minutes away (2 hours from notts)

plus I still know a few girlies up there

oh, and it means I get to hang out with you lot again! :wavey:

still, it's a difficult decision to leave this job but...I think I might regret not going back :( hmmm

time to think on about this...

bit of a rambly post and no real point to it other than to let you know the risk of being overtaken by a loon in a mini might be on the increase :hehe:

:wavey: hi to all out there I haven't seen for a bit :)

Does that mean I'll have to evict the family of Slovaks out of your flat?

Just too busy Bob. Besides, the Slovaks are using portable gas stoves for cooking and stuff. I've told them to be carefull with naked flames, but their English isn't very good.

Edit to say, come back Minimax, I've got some apologising to do for letting you down and a hoon just isn't the same without the mad mini leading the pack

Probably, although the chances are that when you meet the girl's parents, her father is her sister's cousin and her mother is her brother's daughter...

Or is that Scotland...?

hmmm. this is a decision that can only be made with the help of..

...beer and mates

I don't want to be stepping back exactly, but I do miss the scenery and so forth, and being able to hoon about or go to the beach is important to me..and it makes financial sense too

I was also considering york as a possibility, but I hardly know anyone there.

what a decision!

Well book yourself on the Elvington Caterham Slalom day tomorrow and we will have plenty of time to discuss it.

A personal thing, but after living in York for almost 40 years, I'd hardly describe it as 'motorist-friendly'.
It just gets worse all the time. I used a pushbike for getting around town. The suburbs are no better.

The roads further north, both town and country, are just so much less hassle.
