Sorry title should be 25 June.

Who's going to the Rockingham GT Battle tomorrow?
http://www.gtbattle.com/
Anyone fancy a mini convoy?

I would convoy with you Steve but not sure on time yet - and I`m too slow for you!

If timescale looks ok, I`ll email you or otherwise see you there

The person I was going with is now on a bike course, but I may be able to go with someone else if he gets back to me.
If I do end up going, it'll probably be in a red Supra with a silly exhaust.

Ultimasimon (red Ultima) is going, I think.

What time does the fun start? The website says doors open at 8am but not when the first events start.

I think the Ultimas are due for their 0-60s around 12, will probably get a programme if there is one!!

Thanks for organising the day Simon & Dawn, we still enjoyed it despite the weather! In fact shorty after getting your text message telling us you had "high tailed" it out of there, it improved no end!

I wouldn`t say it was cold but when I bought a coffee, several strangers huddled around it for warmth!

Did anyone see the Rockingham girls? I didn`t see them but Gussie reckons I DIDN`T see them about 15 times!! In fact as we were leaving, they were all aboard one of those large golf carts being hotly persued by another loaded with dribbling "Max" lads!

The 0-60s were cancelled definately which was a shame as I was looking forward to videoing that Oh well, I did get some "dodgy" footage of "Max" stuff - not sure what to do with it yet

BTW if you want pics to show on here, replace your & with [pic] & [/pic]

I saw you videoing them on the golf cart
(well I saw you near them with video camera poised ready)

Saw you a couple of times but each time we were walking in opposite direction. If you left then you would've missed the drifting finals which were fantastic

Max lads drooling over pretty ladies was the order of the day really 0

Yes, shame about the weather. It seemed to get colder as the day wore on.

Nice to see you all there though and hi to Ed Fox with his sports

I would also like to thank Simon and Dawn for organising the Ultima stand.
Nice picture of our group of motors.

I was going to ask those scantily clad girls to pose beside my car, but with the wife there, I thought maybe not a good idea!!

Hope the weather's better next week.

I did "accidentally" film them a litle bit, I`ve added a short clip on my video of the day. I`ll have some copies on cd at The Flying Fortress tomorrow providing I get there!

Thanks for the cd of Rockingham Ian!

You got some nice shots on there.

If you look again at the pic you took of the Ultimas, you will see me looking up anxiously at the heavens!!

Only just read you guys were there Saturday - I was there with the 2 Viper's that stood no chance in the rain - ever tried to get 900bhp at the wheels down on a wet track?

Such as shame the weather was so bad, shame I didn't realise you were there!

Next time...
