My mildly fettled divorce present to myself! Over the last 18 months I've got shot of the 30kg bumpers, given it new wheels and boots, it's had a full respray, stainless exhaust (must be the loudest MG in Northumberland?), and had the engine breathed on for reliability. Very happy boy. 🍻

Looks like a lovely ride.

Just a personal thing, but for me the number plate style should be in keeping with the car.

Y'know, a few years ago I would have been 100% with you....but they now seem to have some nostalgia.

Thanks for the comments lads. I didn't want to modernise it, just make it my own using bits from the time. Boys need hobbies, right? 😁

I think i recognise this from sometime last year, out on the a686 heading towards bearsbridge.

I was in an old silver bmw 2002 and remember this looking great compared to the normal looking midgets you see!

Could well have been! I had a few runs out that way, great roads.
