This vehicle looks the absolute bollox (Guards red with original black Fuchs alloys). XXXXing quick as well as being an absolute minter.

What would you regard as the best looking car of all time then?

Mine's an '87 3.3 Turbo.

Come on Lambo - if you're going to slag off sb's flatnose (great looking cars IMO) at least tell us what you drive, or aspire to ??? I'm guessing the clue is in the name but enlighten us anyway.

Massive asumption, I would'nt comment on something I had'nt seen in the flesh, I'm gald for all that find the car atractive, I truely am, but I don't simple as that, I think the copys they made of the car actualy typify the car much better, looks cheap and nasty to me, just my opinion though, there are thousands that love it no doubt!

Yes, the clue is in the title.

Well I think its a great looking car anyway, and so do most who have been in it/seen it.
I certainly have never thought of it as cheap & nasty?!
Don't know how anyone could think that with the level of build and interior trim quality that is on a car of such vintage!

Steve's flatnose is a nice car, but not for all tastes, admittedly.

Cosmetically speaking it is guilty of simply, and understandably, being one of the ultimate automotive manifestations of the 1980's.

If Tubbs had a car to go alongside Crockett's white Testarossa, it would definitely be a 911 Flatnose Turbo.

But to dislike its looks would be similar to disliking a blower Bentley for being 'too 1930s'. Acceptable, but right at the subjective end of the opinion scale.

Cheers

Thanks for that shaft of wit Dom!
I am touching wood at the moment, they seem to be working fine now.It was to do with the adjuster rods that are operated by individual motors seizing up with old age!
Camtune assure me that they will be fine now?!

I like the smooth sloping roofline of a standard 911. Unfortunately a lot of the 80's 911's seem to have massive rubber spoilers, which look a bit naff like 'cossie man's sierra of that era IMO. Ditch the bolt on's and keep it pure.
