Afternoon all, I’ve covered 12k + a few track days since new and it’s time for a new set of michelin pilot sport 4s.

How much have people paid and any recommendations and what’s the best place to source a cheap set?

I would look at going up a width for the tyres, I have 255 front and 275 rear in Michelin pilot 4s and I got them from black circles for around £700. The slightly larger size allows the tyres to sit a lot better, avoiding the stretched look the standard ones have. for somer reason they were cheaper than the OEM sizes too.

If you know someone with a Costco card, they worked out cheapest for me.

How are the front outside shoulders of the 4S surviving track use Ollie? (or anyone for that matter)

The outside on the fronts are the worst effected. Inside tread is passable, but outsides are 🤬 I thought it was just my heavy handed driving style on the track 🤣

Not surprised, it's the combination of fairly soft sidewalls and limited camber.
