'66 Austin question

Need the help of a true expert.
Harley's are my usual topic but I am restoring a '66 Austin Mini - I believe it's a Super Deluxe and has full chrome wheel trims - but the steels beneath are painted off white - is this correct or should they be silver?

By the way, does anyone have a source of pistons for an 850 as I can't find new ones anywhere?
