Wondered people's thoughts on this... I'm now the happy owner of an MX5 which has come with a lovely hard top that I'd like to store somewhere whilst I enjoy what's left of the sunshine. Had a look at covers and whathaveyou and wondered, given the hefty price tag when my wallet is already crying a bit, could I not just stick it in a double size sleeping bag to keep the dust and muck off?

Obviously also want to keep from distortion so was thinking to attach some straps round the outside and hang it via some wall anchors or something.

Would appreciate some insights as doesn't seem much clarity to justify the cost of the more proper storage bags.

You can get wall hanger kits for them, if you google MX5 wall mounting kit.

I bought a bag from MX5 parts, it hangs on the wall, came with two large srews for the wall, been there for near on 7 years no problem, just need the wife or the lad to help me get it on and off the wall. I think it was about 100 squid
