Classic van/truck import

Hi,
Not having much luck with eBay USA, does anyone know of any American sites where I can get hold of a old 70/80s van?
I’m thinking about importing an old muscle van and kitting it out as a camper. I have just come back from croyde in y old motor home. So many vw campers , the thought of turning up in a rumbling v8 van, as a proper surf wagon really appeals. I can probably do carpentry and electrics myself.
Any thoughts, thanks!

I think it’s hard to find one that hasn’t been almost driven into the ground. I’m sure they guzzle petrol.
They had a huge following in the 70’s being customised etc. Vans don’t have a good image these days so finding something half decent may be tough. Some states like mine don’t have any MoT so they can be pretty ropey.

I could be persuaded..... its very original and in very good condition, virtually every one of these you see has been the victim of some kind of homeless surfer bum living in it.

Check this out for a price guide. BaT is a pretty good auction site for genuine car folks. This sold for what? about 14,000 GBP. Look at the photos of the interior closely and you can see it needs a fair bit of tidying up.

Can anyone recommend an agent or contact in the US who can inspect, arrange purchase and sort shipping?

I've seen a C10 I very much like the look of but it's a private sale in the mohave desert and while nipping over to have a look and driving it to a port would be awesome, that's not happening at the moment.
