Just had the stealer say £750 to replace condensor - apparently not covered by warranty... furious

Anyone know of an aircon repair guy (ideally mobile) in Surrey?

STP Super seal, around £23.
As long it's not physical damage this seals small holes and expands rubber seals.

it's £20 but you then also need to guy a gas refill for £60 and the trigger for another £20
so it's £100 altogether, although you'll get a few uses if the gas isn't completely emptied out

You will also thoroughly f***off your air con guy as this stuff is known for clogging up people Aircon machines when they vaccum the system prior to refilling

Spoke to an Indy in Leatherhead who are going to do it next month for a little under £300. Sorted.

For future reference I'd recommend a chap called John goggin from a company called aircare automotive.

Say kev from autoclimate told you about him.

Also for future reference - Auto Air : https://autoairconditioningltd.co.uk/

Used them several times (they're mobile) and always excellent price and service.

Thanks for the info Dave! I've called them and they can do it next week so will use them instead. Saves not having aircon throughout August!
