Only three episodes into this Montana based drama starring Kevin Costner but enjoying it. Its written and directed by Taylor Sheridan who made the excellent 'Frontier Trilogy ' films, 'Sicario', 'Wind River and 'Hell and High Water'. The series was recommended to me and it only gets better by all accounts. Worth a watch if you like this kind of thing.

I bookmarked it on Virgin and it popped up recently... Think it may have been c5, but am really not sure.

It is disaster movie-esque or field of dreams with cowboy hats?

Either way, what channel is it on?

It is neither, its more traditional cattleman ways v development, nothing that hasn't been done before but decent cast. As above am not sure what channel will have to look on my box but think it was c5 perhaps?

It's pretty good I'm on the current (third) series. The second only improved on the first, as said above strong cast and something different from the normal Netflix type stuff.

It's a Paramount Network production so only there and on C5 Catchup in the UK.

I've seen the first two seasons, and really enjoyed it. The characters are strong, and some interesting views on the mentality of those involved.

Looking forward to binge watching season three when it's all available.

I can't find season 2 either and my season 1 was a bit disjointed with no episode 5 for legal reasons?

I can’t recall if this has been mentioned before here( I may have even done it myself) but anyone here watching the series Yellowstone on the Paramount channel?? Features Kevin Costner as a rancher in modern day Montana. Powerful stuff with some tittage

There's a thread on here somewhere.

We really enjoy it but sometimes have trouble hearing the dialogue.

I thought the ' I've got cancer' turning into ' it's an ulcer' storyline was very poor.
It was almost as though they suddenly realised that possibly having him die was a bad idea so they just changed it. And what is it with the branding? The new guy with the guitar was branded as a member of the Yellowstone family but now Rip hates him. And why did they old cowboy shoot that guy in the head just because he was a trouble maker. He'd already been sacked.

I'm going to be Rip when I grow up.

He was shot to make sure he didn’t resurface to make more trouble is my take. A mate used to live in Montana and he said if someone up there says they’re going to kill you then take them very seriously. They don’t mess about.

Wife and I absolutely loved this so far and can't wait for series 4. Best drama series overall from the last few years imo. Certainly the best western programme since justified. Cole Hauser and Costner are a good choice for their respective characters and so is Kelly Rielly. If anyone hasn't seen it I would 100% recommend.
