We're contemplating splitting out a few grouped forums to help make it easier to have conversations around certain OEMs. French Bred isn't overrun, but would you like us to consider breaking down to separate forums for Renault/Peugeot/Citroen or would you rather we left this as it is?

If it is split then Peugeot and Citroen should be kept together.

Surely there's not enough volume of posts to make it worthwhile splitting.

PH fora are already so fragmented it's difficult to discover treads that might be interesting.

Similar to BMW forum. What about a general forum, then a split for S/RS cars..

But it may stimulate more conversation in the individual brands if split? I appreciate most French brands but it would be easier to find threads if the brands were split I think.

Yes, i think it needs splitting. Better to have a few quiet forums where at least the readership is focused into a single interest, for example Renault and/or Renaultsport.

Plus the French car industry makes millions of cars per year so bunching them into a single forum is a little weird, especially whilst low volume manufacturers or extinct ones like TVR get dedicated ones just for a handful of beardos.

Yes, i agree, people will prefer more brand specific stuff not to wade through lots of posts about other unrelated brands. I don't follow and french car pages in FB, all of them are very specific, down to the actual model (which I appreciate we can't do here)

You do know where PH started don't you ?

ETA......I don't see the point in splitting it when the first page of threads currently goes back a whole month .
