Check out Amazon. I recently bought some paint on there for a fraction of the OPC price and the match is perfect.

Always best to test the colour match in the boot or somewhere out of sight before getting too carried away, wherever you buy the paint.

Genuine Porsche will always be the perfect match (not to say others arent) but it's on average 4 times the price..

I'm looking for touch up paint too, but my car seems to be a tricky colour that the companies recommended in this thread don't have a record of.

My car is Gulf Orange, with paint codes L998 or L019 - I think the latter is more likely. My OPC said they would have someone call me to supply the paint, but they didn't call and they don't seem to be replying to my emails about the mess they left in the car either. Any recommendations for suppliers of this colour? Thanks!

Check around to see if there is a car paint supplier local, the place I use has a colorimeter and scans the paint, they sell touch-up pens, aerosols and various sizes of tins, if I remember correctly it was £10 for a small tin...I've had pearl metallic and solid paint matched perfectly.

Top tip...use a toothpick to dab the paint on the chip.

I went with a MPEX pen from Motornuts in the end. I will let you know how it goes.

Yep or a rolled up piece of tissue to a point is what I use.
Always check for an exact match in a hidden area and pay the extra ££ for an exact match if need be.

Anyone got any recommendations for some Shark Blue touch up paint? Both wing mirrors got scratched at the local “Magic Carpet Car Wash” furious

When my OPC's used car bodyshop resprayed my front end they explained that for the same colour code Porsche may have bought paint from several different suppliers.
They have sample cards for all of these to ensure the correct batch of the colour code is applied.
Because of this they could respray with no blending into adjacent panels. I didn't believe it until I saw it.

Similar, I had a spot repair done on a PTS Voodoo blue car, they assured me they could do a small repair then clear the whole panel, I really wasn't expecting much, but it was perfect. They did spray out cards to get the colour before touching the car. Unfortunately the dealership was taken over by Strastones, who have subsequently closed the bodyshop, a great local resource gone forever..

£26 yesterday for a Shark Blue touch up stick from Porsche Silverstone then had to wait nearly 30 minutes before anyone came out to give it to me . On the point of simply walking out when a young girl appears asking if I had come for the paint stick ?? I shall just go fetch it she said , I wont be a minute .banghead
