Technics graphic equaliser advice

Hi everyone,:wavey:

Does anyone have a manual for a Technics Graphic Equaliser (model no. SH-GE 70). I have just bought the equaliser on ebay but it did not come with a manual. Although it works, I am not completely sure how it is supposed to be connected up to the other hi fi compnents.

It has separate line in & line out connections (plus a separate connection for a tape deck), which I have connected in serial between the cd player and amp. However, how do I then connect any other components: i.e. minidisk, tuner, etc?

Can anyone advise me on how it should be properly connected up or even better, does anyone have a manual that they can scan in and e-mail to me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.:thumbup:

It should be connected between the preamp and the power amp.

However, it is at best a rather useless piece of equipment.

Try googling the model number, you may get lucky and find some kind soul has scanned a manual in pdf for you to download.
It worked for me when I needed a service manual for some Marzocchi forks on my enduro bike.

That makes sense. However, I have an integrated amp, therefore this is not possible.

I would tend to agree with you, but it only cost me £30 and I like the look of the flashing equaliser lights ( I know that's a bit sad)

OK, not the exact same model, but go here

put in SHE and search
go to page 3 of the search results for the following equalizer manuals: 51, 65, 66, 75, 85.

I would guess that one of them (if not all) has the same connections.
