Mazda 6 haywire windows!

hello folks!
I'm asking here as you good people have helped me before and I could do with some help!
I've just today bought a really tidy 59 reg Mazda 6 2.0l petrol, and am planning to drive from Yorkshire to the South Coast in it tomorrow!
Sadly, on the way home with the car, the windows started going haywire - I had driver's side down for a minute, and when I wanted to put it up i held on the switch and....the passenger window went down!! suffice to say I wasn't best pleased, less than an hour after purchase and in the pouring rain!
After parking and turning ignition off for a couple of minutes, the windows closed ok and seem to be staying closed with engine off. Thankfully. The issue seems to occur when driving along, and I wasn't driving for very long but I think that having the 'window lock' button engaged stopped the offending passenger window from operating.
When I used the switches I could hear a lot of quick, sporadic clicking coming from the switch panel in the driver's door...not a good noise to hear. The car is also very steamed up inside, possibly evidence of water ingress.
If anyone's got any suggestions I'd be glad to hear them! I will of course be ringing the forecourt on Monday but until then I'll have to hope it gets me to Sussex relatively dry. The only thing I can think of to stop them doing it if really necessary is to take the window fuse out, does anyone know where the fusebox is for a mazda 6?

A bit late, but disconnect the battery for an hour or so, it should reset the window sensors.
This happened to mine, but only with the passenger side, after the disconnect it was fine.
If that doesn’t work, close and hold the button down for 10 seconds on each window, which I’ve read also might fix it.
