So, about 2 years ago my grandma decided it was time to upgrade and got rid of her 1986 Honda Civic. It had a significant amount of work do to to even get through an MOT, several large rust patches etc. Despite all this I decided I would take it and have a go at a restoration. Nice, simple little car to have a go at. Anyway, 2 years later and after various house renovations and other commitments to sink my time and money into, there the Civic sits, still on my drive, no work done, rotting away.
I think it may be time to relinquish the old girl to someone with the time, money and motivation to do a proper restoration. Or perhaps it just needs to be scrapped?
Long story short, is this something anyone would be interested in taking? Free to a good home, it just seems a waste to be sat on my drive. Or is it more suited to the scrap heap?
Thanks all
Note for admin, apologies in advance if this is in the wrong place on the forum*

You could post this also in the Japanese Cars Honda sub section of the forum.

Start with giving it a wash.

you will only realise it has family history and the possible look on your Gran's face when you could have done a great job - when its too late

Older Hondas do have a bit of a following, if possible please don't just scrap it.

Sounds like something that would get snapped up on the Retro Rides forum.

I was hoping no to. I just didn't know if there was enough of a following for someone to want it or it be worth someones time to take it. I think I'll check out some of the retro car sections of PH and see what the score is.
