Not up till now, but we're off to the big city on Saturday, so who knows what will happen there.....

When I say big city, I'm being facetious, anything with a population of over 20,000 is a big city in this neck of the woods laugh

Nothing like that going on down here, in fact it all seems remarkably normal in the Aude!

I would check,it’s only 25 cents or so but still,a bit of a cheek when there were Government loans etc available.

I got a text message from “DHL” stating that I needed to pay 1.5€ to disinfect my parcel. Follow the link.
However I’m in UK and no parcels expected
Good try for 1.5€

Is it to do with people not wanting a load of small change from unknown sources.

Our standard baguette is 90cents, so I just hand over €1 and walk.

Our favourite restaurant has increased their set menu by €1.5. But the restrictions have reduced the maximum number covers from 22 to 15, so, in the circumstance, I think that it’s reasonable.

Better to pay a bit extra than lose the benefit of the service. Things are going to be tough out there.
