Exige S2 yellow good or bad?
Discussion
been offered a yellow S2 Exige at a good price. A little worried about the resale value of this colour ( when changing to another Exige of course ) .
Would prefer black as it looks mean in black but am tempted by the low price - it has all the option I need ( Air Con , electric windows ,CD ,low miles )only draw back I can see is the colour - if it was black it would already be in my garage!
Would appreciate any thoughts.

Dave,
I was going to get a yellow one, but the g/f wouldn't let me! So I got a red one instead. I didn't mind as it was cheaper!
I wouldn't worry too much, yellow is a perfectly acceptable colour and to be honest, people who want an Exige are far more interested in its performance than its colour. In fact a lot of people think the more garish the better!

I have a yelowone, i didnt spec it from new and i think if someone had siad to me, would you buy a bright yellow lotus, i probably would have said no. However, when i saw and then sat in this one i knew it was for me. i have seen a dark grey one and a silver one and i think mine looks better (imho). i will update my profile to include a piccy of mine.
Go with the performance and not so much the colour. i know of many people dying to get their hands on my car but i cant see myself parting with it.
Good luck and let us know what happens.

I must admit i used to think
to yellow but there is something about it on the Elise and the Exige. I've seen topcats motor and it is awesome in that colour. Additionally when at the local Lotus garage they had a yellow 111S and it looked wicked. I think its something to do with yellow and black that goes so well.Gassing Station | Elise/Exige/Europa/340R | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
