Had a great time but family illness forced me home early...
Doing 190mph down the Mulsanne straight was fanastic on Thursday and will be with me always.
Loads of crazy stories will emerge but my thanks to Paul.B for the orgainisational effort superb, I will return
I still have the touch to scare the public giving a dutch bloke a high speed ride from the Mulsanne to Arnage, according to Paul, his hands with shaking, mumbling he stumbled off ... I thought I was gentle on him

Cool. That's pretty much the same speed as the prototypes! I take it was a dead of night job when someone had tipped the CRS that there was an imminent terrorist attack in Tours...
It'd be cool if the ACO ran a track day on the Monday or Tuesday before the event. Maybe with a few restrictions like >500bhp and >300mm rear tyre width to keep the riff raff out.

Gareth forgot to mention being pulled by the plod for pulling a U’ey (sp) and excessive acceleration. When he indicated that it was all down to his folly in approaching the baying mob at Arnage in the middle of a firework battle they seemed to agree it was both prudent and timely and sent him on his way.

Can I just say it was Bluesatin and Paul.B winding me up that forced my hand ...
I drove down the Mulsanne at 0130 Saturday morning on a reccie at about 70 mph it was clear but for me at Mulsanne I turned towards Arnage, a couple of drunk kids trying to get me to perform, I drove on, then Arnage there was a baying mob of about a 1000 demanding burnout firing off fireworks at each other, I saw them, they saw me I did a 180 flick and fled ...

I saw that one, I was actually filming it when it died
Houx roundabout on fri, red, he was ready to make some smoke, and there was a small click as he put the power down and it died. Was then pushed away and I didnt see it again.
