The below was posted earlier on the Nissansportz forum, so, get your orders in soon. Or alternatively keep on saying that you want/ed an analog, 2 seat rear wheel drive n/a V6 coupe/roadster, then not buy it because of the badge.

NISMO NEWS | 370Z End of Production
Dear NISMO centres,

End of Production for 370Z Coupe

We would like to inform you that the production of the MY20 370Z will be coming to an end on 30th Septmeber 2020 for the UK market.
On Sale for more than 10 years, the 370Z was one of the last Sports Coupes to feature a naturally aspirated V6 engine and as such was a true celebration of Nissan’s ‘Z’ car heritage.

Throughout its lifecycle, the 370Z has proven to be a popular and versatile with a number of special editions such as the Yellow edition, Black edition and last year’s 50th Anniversary edition. We know that this much loved model will be well remembered and continue to be cherished by its army of loyal fans.

We encourage you to sell from existing stock, whether your own or from NDS first. There is a last opportunity to place sold customer orders only for the final production month of September, with expected November arrival in the UK. While we will do our best to have these built, please be aware that this cannot be guaranteed due to parts supply restrictions to minimise obsolescence impacts. Orders must be placed by the end of June, so please do not hesitate to speak to any potential customers who may require a factory order vehicle.

Too true.

"Think of the 370Z like the best vintage Japanese sports car you could possibly buy, only it's brand-new and selling at a very reasonable price."

£30k for the base model is still a lot of money in absolute terms. Particularly as it offers no concession to accommodating Small People in the back, so for families it'd be a second car.

At least a GT86 has a rear bench and could cover as sole car, if you can do without V6 burbles.

I love my 370Z Roadster and the 370Z Coupe has had a cracking sales run to be fair. I'm sad that production is ending, but hopefully we still have the 400Z to look forward to.

The 370Z is a lovely bit of the old school I reckon. cool

Love these. Been on and off looking at these for years (ideally the 40th anniversary edition), but never pulled the trigger scratchchin

I like them, but a bit put off with the rust issues on the rear subframe etc, especially compared to the 350Z.

Have a look at the Chris Drift videos.

I'm not sure what I'm more shocked at, there still making them or people are still buying them new?

I wanted one, I bought one (used) from Nissan.

Not quite sure what your passive-aggressive statement is supposed to mean. Are people not allowed to lust after cars?

Lusting after cars is fine.

I suspect the OP meant people who complain on internet forums along the lines of "OMG why do manufacturers not make N/A six cylinder RWD sports cars any more" when they haven't put their money where their mouth is.

Enjoy your 370Z smile

Broadspeed suggests a realistic price of £26k after discount for the base model. How much for a Z4 or TT or Supra with 320+ bhp?

I’ve got an early 370z which I bought used and I am surprised to hear they still make these, I like my one it’s does feel very old school (hence me surprised they still make them).

I think I buying one new now and keeping hold of it would make a good long term investment.

Liking the Nissans. I’m surprised they didn’t sell better in the early years. They did well in the USA. They seem to be a bit of a used bargain if you can get past a Porsche badge.

+1

It's all about the mod's, isn't it, this car.

You're right about the excess of some. On the other hand, being creative director and chief engineer of your own machine means that you can exercise restraint. Turn things up to 11 without going all boy racer.

If you connect your iPhone to the USB socket in the arm rest the 370Z recognises it as an iPod! Old skool to the core...

I don't disagree with your point about needing to be a second car but £30K is seemingly nothing these days. I just had a look and a new BMW 118i is around £30K. Mental.

I'm not sure if I preferred my 350 to the M3 I have now, it felt like I could use more of the performance more of the time in the 350, although the M3 is much better when you're properly on it, chances to do that are rare.

biggrin Now if only they still made new E30s and W124s I’d be a lot happier!
