Hi all, I’ve a set of used gaz gold pros to fit to my little mk1 eunos.
I want to drop the height a little from standard but not to a chavvy stanced look, just 3-4 cm lower. Is it simply a case of initially removing the standard shock and setting the spring length on the new one the desired length compared to the old? I want to avoid having to constantly raise/lower the car and removing the wheel.
Secondly, any tips on setting the clicks? Will be fast (ish - it’s a 1.6 after all) road use so want a balance of handling versus comfort.

Zed.

I'd fit them & see where it sits, as to the 'click' (damping) adjustment, that will be personal preference & related to how you drive?

For ride height, make them up with the springs and compare to the old ones, minus a bit for the ride height drop. Once in measure the chassis rails to the ground to get it even all round, you will need to fiddle with it.

Clicks wise, count the total number of clicks and then set them half way, you can then adjust to suit as you know where you are starting from.

If you are changing the ride height you will need to get an alignment done as well.
