Im watching the repeats of this
Its so good,
The subtle humour, the way the germans are made out to be fools.
Every scene really well written.
Everyone is made out to be fools. That's the point. Its so good,

It's very good though. A couple of series too many of course.
It's a great theme for parties as so many characters and costumes are pretty easy to acquire.
Its on UKTV a lot, unfortunately it's not available on-demand yet

I was dressed as a waitress, my friend as an Airman, another as Madonna with the big boobies. It was brilliant fun. If I can find a the photo of us all I’ll post it. On a more serous note the fatality rate in the wartime French Resistance was reckoned to be about 25% so the real Renee and his family and staff really were dicing with death.
Still enjoy watching the odd repeat though.
True, but the RAF pilots they sheltered in their attic faced 40+%death rate, and the guys in the U-Boats were facing 75%, which I really struggle with.Still enjoy watching the odd repeat though.
