I had a half day hire of a Fraser Clubman S today. It is a NZ Lotus 7 replica and their equivalent of Caterham. 1600 cc Toyota engine. About 140 bhp and 600 kg (not sure why heavier than a Caterham). Took it to some good roads I know north of Auckland. Woodcocks Road for those in the know.

Was very good fun. Toyota engine was really good. Sounded great and to be honest didn’t feel much different from the last K series Caterham I drove (although quite some time back).

Some great roads here for 7 replicas.

Lovely. I used to love taking my Westfield for a drive especially in autumn and winter.

Eric - do you mean that the exhaust is on the correct side (for a Ford crossflow)?

Not just Crossflows. Up until the current generation of Sevens, the exhaust was almost always on the passenger side.

It was tongue in cheek.
