Has anyone fitted either a supercharger like the Weiand 142 as per AS or a nitrous kit from firms like Wizards of NOS. What problems have you found and what are the drawbacks of fitting one of the aforementioned rooster-boosters after the car has been finished. At present the engine is a 406cid with approx 465bhp but as we all know enough is never enough.

Tim, the search button is going to give you most of the answers you are looking for. You will find super/turbocharged Ultima setups on this board.

A nitrous kit is probably a good solution for you, unless your existing engine was built for FI (forced induction -- lower compression). However, it probably wouldn't be good for the internals to go much more than a 150 shot of nitrous. A progressive system would be better for the road course...maybe not needed at the drag stip.

Generally, an engine built for FI runs anywhere from (as low as) high-7 to mid-9 static compression ratio depending on the goal for boost PSI. Let us know what you decide...

The best you should do is a chapman racing head, instant 70-100bhp power gain

I've got Holley's Single fogger wet NOS on my 11.2:1 comp LS6 Powered GTR. Runs great on 93 octane that we can buy everywhere.
