Nicky Campbell used to do this when he was a DJ on R1, I don't remember what it was called though.

The rules are these: Wait until a topic has been exhausted then post up a news story, people then have to suggest appropriate songs and artists to support the headline or story.
You have to quote which headline or news story you are referring to in your answers.

The first subject to tackle is 'Brian May taken to hospital after tearing buttock muscles while gardening'

I will offer up 'Fatbottomed girls' and Natalie Imbruglias 'Torn', but I'm sure you can do better. He won't be humming 'I want to ride my bicycle' for a while.

Sounds a lot like Mark and Lard's Cheesily Cheerful Chart Challenge.

The answer is usually The Smiths and Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now, although in this instance it could be The Boy With The Thorn In His Side.

Twist and Shout - The Beatles
Cheeky Song (Touch My Bum) - Cheeky Girls

And, if it was a painful as he claims, Twist and Crawl - The Beat.
