Does anyone have a copy of an engine rebuild manual for the AJP V8 they could share with me. I've found the basic photo step by step build from new manual but I'm sure there must be another more detailed one out there. Does one exist?
Thanks in advance.

Ok thanks, its surprising with such interest and so much knowledge out there. I supposed at the end of the day they are not actually that complicated.
Didn't someone produce a home guide some years ago and publish for £30, or is this what you bought?

Hi,

I downloaded the manual from the first link in this thread (that no longer seems to work....) some time ago. I've got 84 pages, is that it? Just want to check I'm not missing anything critical. It seems a bit light, but there is enough info in there (and on here) to get stuck in.

Thanks,

Simon

I had 84 pdf / jpg. Pop them all in a folder and link them in Excel. Then you can easily follow progress and tick off each stage.

The problem with the PDF that has been available for some time, is that some pages are in the wrong order, and since it's the engine timing section that's affected, it is really confusing

Thanks, glad I checked. The nine elms links totals 118 pages, not 84. I was getting a security warning from the site on my PC, but they opened fine on my ipad.

The nine elms downloads are also better quality, thanks for hosting them.

I've sent them off to Doxdirect for printing, about £26 and will put them in a folder to use. The spreadsheet idea is a good one though, I may also do that. biggrin

I think you posted up a better method on here a while ago, which I'll use when the time comes.
